this technological age, the computer and electronic
instrument seems to have replaced the human
brain in calculation. The actual fact is that
there is an almost unlimited treasure in the
human brain that remains untapped. "Mental
Arithmetic" is the best form of education
that can help children tap the unexploited treasure
in his/her brain. It can help your child's arithmetical
capability by leaps and bound.
In recent years, lots of emphasis has been placed
on Mental Arithmetic by educationist and parents
alike. Countless students have embarked on Mental
Arithmetic courses and learned how to use the
ancient Chinese abacus as a tool to achieve
their ability.
The aim of Mental
Arithmetic program is to provide a well rounded
education to make learning interesting, lively
and full of fun. It develops children concentration,
thinking, observance, reading and writing abilities.
This will boost children’s confidence
in overcoming obstacles in their future endeavors
as they grow up.
The center
was established to teach and impart basic skill
with a personal touch necessary for future learning
in life that might be meaningful. Today at centers
throughout the world we still seek to do the
same using the same revolutionary methods and
teaching techniques propounded first by Prof.
Lee Kung Roong of Taiwan many years ago. We
seek to systematically and progressively teach
and enable each child to acquire the basic skills
which make up their total education development
i.e. reading, writing, counting, listening,
imitating, participating, appreciating, observing,
reasoning, memorizing, conceptualizing and many
other necessary skills.
Through Program
our aim is to train children to be smarter student
that is achievable. Our simple and proven step
by step guidance and motivational teaching system
effectively activates the child’s mental
power and thus developing their untapped talent.
What
is "Mental Arithmetic"?
Mental
Arithmetic is a method of calculation that DOES
NOT require the use of any physical instrument
such as abacus, electronic calculator or any
other primitive state-of-the-art implementation
instrument. It is done solely in the mind i.e.
mentally.
Objectives
of Mental Arithmetic Education
